25 year old woman married to a Patriot soldier for 10 years with 4 children. Owners of a small farm outside Groton,MA. Her household is self-sufficient (maker of her own soap,candles,brooms and clothes as well as a baker). She knows how to work in the field and how to shoot a firearm. Knowing about the possibility of arrival of Loyalist messengers,she and the other soldiers wives prepare to a surprise ambush. They were sucessful but scared of a British occupation she and her family decide to relocate to Hartford (Connecticut). While at Hartford they participate in fundraisings and once a week she rolls bandages to help the wounded soldiers. After the battle of Saratoga she discovers that her husband died at the battle.

On August 26th in the night Hessians ambushed his camp. He tried to run but they had the camp surrounded he was stabbed by a bayonet and killed that night.
