When the Iraq War began in March of 2003, the US military decided that it would allow reporters to travel with some divisions of the army. These reporters brought back newcasts from the 'front lines' of the battles and they were called 'embedded' reporters (meaning that they ate, travelled, reported and slept with the troops as they were invading Iraq).
Imagine what it would be like to be an 'embedded' reporter during the American Revolutionary War? This project (located here at http://www.lesdwebquests.org/WEBQUEST2/MAIN.HTM) asks you to do just that. Follow the steps and enjoy. I'll leave it up to the class whether we should actually videotape the presentations!
