I live in India and e-Commerce market is rapidly growing here. Amazon is one of the two top e-commerce companies operating in India. My brother owns a shop where he sells mobile phones and accessories. His sales figures are not very great and he is often unhappy about it. So last month I opened an Amazon seller account for him so that he could have another sales channel for the items available in his shop. Although, I was almost 100% sure that what I am doing would be of no use and no one will buy from us when already there are so many big fish swimming in the market and there is cut throat competition between them, to my surprise, I got an order the very next day. I was happy beyond belief. I then listed few more products and once every 2-3 days, we started recieving one order. Its been a month and now we are getting 1-2 orders on a daily basis. Yesterday we got 4 orders in one single day and it has boosted our confidence that we definitely can succeed on Amazon.

There are a lot of nice people who are giving advice and sharing there experiences for free on youtube and elsewhere. You can learn a lot from them. If you are determined, then dont wait. List the items even if you have only a few. You may use the listings of the same product created by other sellers or you can create one of your own. In the latter case, you will have to run advertising campaigns on Amazon. Keep learning and keep imroving.
